The Challenge
When the owners of this charming Tudor approached us about expanding their home, we knew we had a fun challenge ahead. Not only did we need to fit multiple new rooms into a single backyard addition, but we also had to navigate the complexities of designing an upper level beneath the home’s dramatic, sloping roof. Our Solution
We began by transforming the compact galley kitchen into a spacious, entertainer’s dream—blending functionality with beautiful, thoughtful details. Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen, the brand-new family room offers lovely backyard views, creating the perfect space for gathering and relaxing.
Upstairs, the new master suite is a true showpiece, featuring a vaulted ceiling hand-framed by our expert craftsmen—a testament to the artistry and precision of specialized carpentry. And to bring this classic Tudor into the modern era, we added a stylish and practical mudroom along with a charming powder room, ensuring the home is as functional as it is timeless.
